Flashing stock rom via odin

Bricked your phone ????? .... or simply ... want ur original phone back or probably its lost warranty !!!!

Well not a big problem ...... Today i am gonna post how to flash the stock rom on your galaxy y ( a stock rom is the original rom which came with your phone when you bought it !! ) .......

So here are the steps - 

1. first download this stuff on your pc - S5360_DDLA3_ODDLA2_DDLA2_STOCK_ROM

2. now extract the downloaded (.zip) file in your pc (desktop will be a better location)

3. after extraction u will get a folder named GALAXY Y UPDATE blah blah ..... open it

4. start odin (it will be an executable file) .

5. select the 'PDA' tab and locate the (GALAXY Y UPDATE) folder which you extracted in the beginning        

    open it and select the archive named ' PDA_S5360DDKK1_REV05 ' ......

6. now select the 'PHONE' tab and select the archive named ' MODEM_S5360DDKK1_REV05 ' ...

7. select the 'CSC' tab and select the archive ' GT-S5360-MULTI-CSC-ODDKJ3 ' .....

8. LEAVE THE 'BOOTLOADER' AND PIT 'TABS' EMPTY AND EVERY CHECKBOX AS IT IS

    (DEFAULT) ..

9. turn off your phone properly ( obviously if its bricked it would be already off )

10. now enter 'DOWNLOAD' mode ( BY PRESSING VOLUME DOWN + HOME + POWER )

11. now u r in download mode ....... press volume up to continue .... 

12. now connect your phone using usb cable to your pc .... odin will recognise the device (top left corner

      box turns yellow) ..

13. and finally click on 'START' tab in odin ...... it will take less than a minute for the flashing to complete ..

14. once you see the top left box turn green with 'PASS' written on it .... you can now unplug the device 

      from pc .....

Congratulations !!!! , you have successfully flashed the stock rom on your galaxy y ....... and hence got your original phone back with its warranty as well !!!!

Note - if on connecting your phone to pc the message comes like ' USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED' ..

           you need to install the SAMSUNG USB DRIVERS (Download) after the FIRST STEP ....
